One of the best ways to succeed in math is to see understanding as our responsibility, and not solely the responsibility of the teacher or the school. It's completely normal to not to fully understand a mathematical topic the first time it is introduced, so along with attending classes and doing homework, it may be enlightening to find other resources to help us comprehend any new topics we are learning!
